Cindy Shipstead
Cindy Shipstead, is the Senior Commercial Property Management Director at Weston Management, Inc.
Mrs. Shipstead started her career in 1988 as a Property Manager and Tenant Improvement Manager with Tooley & Company, Executive Developers for The Irvine Company at Jamboree Center in Orange County. From conception to completion, Cindy was an integral team member working directly with The Irvine Office Company President, General Contractor, Project Managers, and Leasing Agents. This development encompassed over 1 million square feet of Class A office space with some of the country’s largest firms. After 8 years in Southern California she moved her family back to her roots in the Central Valley where she raised her family and served as Director of Property Management for Total Asset Management, Inc.
Before forming Weston Management, Inc. Cindy worked with Northstar Management, Inc. from 2009-2020 in business development and as a Senior Property Manager for their office, retail and industrial portfolio.
Cindy Shipstead graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Construction Management and is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson. In Orange County she met and married Wes Shipstead and together they have raised two children, Ryann and Weston. When not working, the entire family enjoys playing tennis, snow skiing and boating at Huntington Lake.
Wes Shipstead
Wes Shipstead is the Director of Operations/Controller at Weston Management, Inc. He began his real estate career as an industrial specialist with Cushman & Wakefield in North Orange County. During that time, he represented developers and end users in lease and purchase negotiations. He has held an active broker’s license since 1995 and in 2010 he formed Weston Management, Inc.
Upon his move to Fresno, Wes transitioned his real estate focus to commercial construction and property management. He now has over 25 years of commercial construction experience in both the private and public sectors. He is a “B” licensed general contractor. Completed projects in the private sector include multi-story office, industrial, retail, medical, apartment complexes and an Indian Gaming Casino. In the public sector, completed projects include schools, offices and multi-family housing developments.
Mr. Shipstead graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BS in Economics and is a life member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He grew up in Incline Village, Nevada where he developed his love for the outdoors. He enjoys boating, snow skiing, hiking, mountain biking and playing tennis. He has captained many 4.0 USTA tennis teams to league championships and has served as Board President for the Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club. Wes has also been an advisor for the Construction Management Department at California State University, Fresno. His greatest joy is spending time with his family and has often been quoted, “Moving to Fresno was the best decision he ever made”.
